libdb5.3-java-gcj software package provides Berkeley v5.3 Database Libraries for Java (native code), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdb5.3-java-gcj
libdb5.3-java-gcj is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdb5.3-java-gcj package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdb5.3-java-gcj *
You will get with libdb5.3-java-gcj package name, version, architecture and description in a table
